A bottle was picked up on the beach at Prospect yesterday, containing a piece of paper on which was written a message that the bottle had been thrown overboard from the Waratah. The affair is regarded as a hoax, as the lat. and lon. given is obviously wrong, being lat. 14 deg. 8 E. and long 134 S.
