The following official list of the names of the crew who signed on the s.s. Koombana's articles and who were supposed to have gone in the vessel is supplied by the Shipping Master of Fremantle (Captain T. W. Smith). The age, birthplace, and capacity of each member is given:--

wages (amounting to £6/8/-) of Thomas MacDonald, late of the S.S."KOOM-
BANAH" be paid to you for delivery to the legal heir, I have to state
that instead of remitting the amount to you I have utilized it for the
payment of wages due to Mrs Bridget Catherine Cooper, in accordance wit
your [unclear] No. 7433/19/18.
I should therefore be glad if you will pay the £6/8/- to
MacDonald's legal heir.
