Pt Hedland|
24/9/11|
When entering Pt Hedland at 9.24 am of this date, the ship took the ground on the Western bank, at 10.20 am she floated off after pumping out No. 3 starboard tank. Wells sounded, and I do not anticipate any damage to the ship as the bottom was soft.

Pt Headlnd|
20/1/12|
When entering this Port this morning (18th inst.) the ship struck the bar. The leads were in line, and the tide signals showed 17ft. The ship's draft 17/- frd 18/- aft. The least water given by leadsman was 4 fathoms.
It was blowing hard from the N.E. with a slight sea. I do not think the ship sustained any serious damage as wells have been carefully sounded since and there is no sign of leakage.
