DISEASED NATIVES.—Another batch of aborigines were delivered here last week from the Lock hospitals at Bernier and Dorre Islands, and conveyed to Carnarvon. There were forty-five females and seven males. All looked very happy at the prospect of returning to their homes after from six months to two years on the islands. Fifteen were forwarded to Cue and to inland stations, and the balance journeyed north by the Koombana on Monday. The latter contingent, before boarding the trucks, were regaled with biscuits, kindly given by Messrs. Whitlock & Company, and which were distributed by the Mayor and Mrs. Daisy Bates.
