The death took place at Cork of Miss Harriet Patricia Lenihan, daughter of the late Mr. Maurice Lenihan, sometime Mayor of Limerick, author of the ‘History of Limerick.’ Miss Lenihan spent several years in Australia. She had been connected with the Sanitary Department of Melbourne City, and subsequently was in charge of a leper colony. On her return to Limerick she obtained an annual gratuity from the British Civil List through Mr. Nolan, Town Clerk, Limerick, in recognition of the literary work of her late father, who was a member of the Royal Irish Academy.
