Information reached us on Thursday night that on the previous evening Mr Charles Lilley had brought in a pearl weighing 130 grs., and lodging it at the Bank with £7,000 put upon it as its value. The Bank is not communicative upon some subjects, and while some people assert that Mr Lilley has not even come into Broome, yet others declare that they saw him there early on Thursday morning. We hope the report is true.
