THE BROOME MURDER.
PERTH, Nov. 26.
Pablo Marquez, one of the Manilamen sentenced to death for the murder of Mark Leibglid at Broome, has made a confession, in which he says that Charles Hagen, who was also sentenced to death in connection with the same crime upon circumstantial evidence, had nothing to do with the murder. Marquez implicates instead another white man at Broome. Hagen's counsel has communicated with the Executive Council in the hope of securing a reprieve.
